Video editing
A hobby I have picked up over the past 2 years is video editing and production. I initially got into it after remembering the editing I saw on the old app Vine. I chose anime as my media and online they are usually called AMVs (Anime Music Videos). Because of the experience I have gained from editing, I have chosen to take the Video Media EFA for my senior year. I currently edit on a program called After Effects CC 2017 and share my work on Instagram.
Peace jam
One of the clubs I take part in at Loy Norrix High School is Peace Jam. Peace Jam is a volunteer organization run by one of my teachers, Mrs. May. I've been a part of the club since my sophomore year and take pride in the activities we do and people we help. My favorite part of the whole thing is the Edison Literacy Project. In this project, each Peace Jammer is chosen by a 4th grader from Edison Elementary School. We meet with them every Friday at Edison to read to them and end the project with a trip to Binder Park Zoo.
